$42(free s/h)In recent years, Oregon has emerged as a wine region of great strength and diversity that continually pushes the envelope in terms of style and quality for the stylish Pinot Noir. And, everyone has been taking notice! Vintage 2004 promised high quality according to Wine Spectator and delivered it ten fold. We are delighted to bring you this soft, luxurious, estate bottled Pinot Noir from Cherry Hill Winery. And we were lucky to get it too. On a recent buying trip, we were told by every single producer that they were -out-of stock- that's right, completely bone dry! So much so, that many producers were releasing their 2005 vintage from barrel before it was even ready. Nestled in the Eola Hills of Willamette Valley, we worked with Cherry Hill in reserving 50 cases for our use of this lively Pinot Noir that shows soft raspberry and plum aromas. Handcrafted from Pommard clones and aged in French oak for 12 months, it's rich, delicate characteristics make it perfectly ready to drink now or has the ability to age up to 2011.
