A late April rain reduced crop sizes in the vineyards but the long and even summer that followed produced grapes of unparalleled quality and consistency. The result: Jake Ryan Cellars Semillon-Sauvignon Blanc. Made from a blend of 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, the wine was inspired by the traditional white wines of the Graves district of Bordeaux. The nose exhibits aromas of peach, citrus, vanilla cream, orange blossoms and a hint of Indian spices. Medium-bodied with a crisp mouthfeel and balanced acidity is backed by a soft and lightly creamy palate due to 10 months of French oak aging. Buy a case now!
