(free S/H 29/btl) Nielluciu is what Sangiovese is called in Corsica and this wine is 100% Sangiovese, bringing comparisons with the famous Chianti of Italy.
This Corsican wine has a typical Sangiovese nose of spice, red fruit and licorice. The palate is tight but bursting with strawberry and cherry and a hint of black fruit. Well rounded and warm even though the wine saw no oak, the Terra Nostra is a pleasant little wine that should be drunk in its youth.
