True to French form, this Malbec dominated wine will be elegant and well balanced, showing fine tannin and perfect structure. If you are looking for a super concentrated fruit bomb with more sizzle than steak, look to Argentina, not this classical production of Malbec.
This property was purchased at auction by the Resses family in 1895 and is still under the direction of the family today. The Cahors vineyard is one of the most alluring sites as it was once owned by the clergy from the middle ages until the French Revolution.
