$55(free s/h) Only 350 cases of this single vineyard designate were produced and we were lucky to grab 20 of them. Made from the famous Hyde Vineyard of Carneros, which is known for high-end Chardonnays like Kistler, the Merryvale Chardonnay was aged in 100% French oak barrels (50% new) for 17 months! Tropical fruit notes combine with flavors reminiscent of baked apple resulting from barrel fermentation and native yeasts. This wine has an aging potential of 8 years and will remind any Chardonnay lover of a robust, round and mouthfilling Meursault!
