$32(free s/h) Too often we see over ripe and alcoholic Shiraz from Australia that could be labeled as Port were it to come from Portugal. Neil McGuigan has successfully used perfectly balanced grapes while keeping the alcohol at a modest 13.5% to craft this rich and powerful wine. Offering intense cassis and vanilla on the nose and an extremely concentrated palate of black fruits and velvety tannins backed up with a fine oak finish, this is a classic Australian Shiraz which we personally scored 94-96, it will age effortlessly, but who could resist it now?
