And Lobster Bay (from the hugely acclaimed Staete Landt winery) is one of the finest you'll taste. “This consistently impressive wine is grown in the Rapaura district, hand-picked, wholebunch pressed, and fermented with indigenous yeasts in French oak barriques. The 2005 is a rich, complex style with a slightly toasty bouquet and mouthfilling body. Generous and open, it has sweet-fruit delights, rich, peachy, mealy flavours and lovely softness of texture.Citrus fruit oak-aged Chardonnay - a great match with lobster or seared scallops.
