$21(free s/h) Chenin Blanc is one of the grapes South Africa is becoming best known for. So much so, that the wineries cannot plant enough of these vines to keep up with demand. Post House barrel ferments its Chenin Blanc which helps add aromas of vanilla and toast to an already tropical and citrus nose. A load of fruit on the palate is balanced nicely by zesty acidity and finished off with a touch of toasty oak on the finish. This wine is drinking well now, but may benefit from 1-2 more years of aging. Try this wine well-chilled alongside seafood pasta, mushroom risotto, chicken or duck with orange and pork chops.
