$90 (free s/h) Germain-Robin produces only 80 barrels of various brandies each year. One of these is made for the white House, where it is used at state functions such as the Reagan-Gorbachev summit in 1987 and Clinton inaugural in 1993.
Hubert Germain-Robin created barrel V47 in 1996 when we, a
Chicago-based distributor, asked him for something smoother and of higher
quality than the cognac we had been importing. Hubert assembled a
blend of some already aged brandies which were unusually rich in fruit. The
deep richness is balanced by soft yet powerful oak (French Limousin).
Further aging allowed the blend to fully marry: it is balanced, integrated,
on the nutty side, deep, structured, with great mouth appeal and a long
finish. Exclusively ours. Buy a case now!
